Ihya Libya demanded to immediately freeze the current battle lines to avoid a regional clash between the two largest armies in the region, the Egyptian and Turkish, in addition to creating positive prospects by returning to the final commitments reached by the Paris Conference, and setting December 31, 2020 as the deadline for holding presidential elections. Direct Parliament based on the recommendations decided by the February Committee and the requirements of Law No. 5 of 2014.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Islamic State terrorist group likely will launch an attack on Italy within weeks, not months, according to a senior Libyan government official.<\/p>\n

Aref Ali Nayed<\/strong>, Libya\u2019s ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, said in an interview that one likely method of attack would be to use stolen Libyan airliners now believed to be in the hands of Islamists in Libya.<\/p>\n\n\n
