Aref Ali Nayed, head of the Libya Academy for Advanced Studies, the former ambassador of Libya to the Emirates, described the Libyan initiative that was presented in Cairo as historical and which was crystallized in the Egyptian capital, stressing that it is possible to activate the terms of this initiative on the ground.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nayed confirmed in his intervention on the Al-Arabiya screen that a cease-fire could be stopped before the date specified in the initiative, indicating that this would lead to the opening of political and economic paths and military discussions that would lead to Libya for security, safety and peace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Islamic State terrorist group likely will launch an attack on Italy within weeks, not months, according to a senior Libyan government official.<\/p>\n

Aref Ali Nayed<\/strong>, Libya\u2019s ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, said in an interview that one likely method of attack would be to use stolen Libyan airliners now believed to be in the hands of Islamists in Libya.<\/p>\n\n\n
