Tripoli – The former Libyan Ambassador to the UAE and a candidate for the presidential elections, Dr Aref Nayed is preparing to launch his election campaign, despite the continuing controversy over the possibility of holding the elections as scheduled on the tenth of next December.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nayed said in a televised interview on Monday evening that he is preparing to hold a conference to explain the Libya Vision 2023 initiative, which aims to advance the country’s future at all levels and fields. The vision is an election program for Nayed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Islamic State terrorist group likely will launch an attack on Italy within weeks, not months, according to a senior Libyan government official.<\/p>\n

Aref Ali Nayed<\/strong>, Libya\u2019s ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, said in an interview that one likely method of attack would be to use stolen Libyan airliners now believed to be in the hands of Islamists in Libya.<\/p>\n\n\n
