The Chairman of the Libya Institute for <\/em>Advanced Studies (LIAS), Dr Aref Nayed said that he welcomes the Brotherhood\u2019s participation in the elections, primarily as individuals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nayed stressed in an exclusive interview with Libya’s Channel, which was broadcast through the “More” program and monitored by the channel’s website, that they do not want their participation as an organization, indicating that they have taken control of the state, and everyone sees what things have turned out to be.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In response to what was raised about his attendance at the Paris meeting at the Elysee Palace and his presence as a journalist on behalf of the Libya’s Channel, Nayed denied this altogether, indicating that his attendance was as an observer at the meeting at the specific invitation of French President Emmanuel Macron.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the Chairman of the Libya Institute for <\/em>Advanced Studies, Dr Nayed, added that the Brotherhood organization was the one who promoted that rumour, displaying at the same time pictures that prove his presence and his sitting in the prescribed seats in the Elysee Palace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Islamic State terrorist group likely will launch an attack on Italy within weeks, not months, according to a senior Libyan government official.<\/p>\n

Aref Ali Nayed<\/strong>, Libya\u2019s ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, said in an interview that one likely method of attack would be to use stolen Libyan airliners now believed to be in the hands of Islamists in Libya.<\/p>\n\n\n
