Tripoli – The Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Libya, Bernardino Leon, called on the General National Congress, which is the legislative body in the ruling authorities in Tripoli that fall under the banner of the Muslim Brotherhood, to<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Expediting “reaching a solution” to the issue of his objection to the draft agreement and his position on the dialogue sessions.

Leon did not confirm in a press conference held following a meeting with members of the outgoing General National Congress in Istanbul on Tuesday evening, that the conference will participate in the upcoming dialogue sessions in Geneva today, Thursday, tomorrow, Friday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Islamic State terrorist group likely will launch an attack on Italy within weeks, not months, according to a senior Libyan government official.<\/p>\n

Aref Ali Nayed<\/strong>, Libya\u2019s ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, said in an interview that one likely method of attack would be to use stolen Libyan airliners now believed to be in the hands of Islamists in Libya.<\/p>\n\n\n
