On the sidelines of a series of preparatory meetings for the pan-Libya national movements and parties\u2019 meeting that will be held in Benghazi to reaffirm their strong and firm support for holding the direct Presidential and Parliamentary elections scheduled on December 24, 2021, the Ihya Libya (Reviving Libya) Movement and the Civil Democratic Party held a series of coordination meetings, today, in Benghazi that underscored the crucial importance of holding the upcoming elections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The two sides also discussed ways of developing cooperation between their institutions through joint training and capacity building programs, and organizing specialized workshops and seminars aimed at raising the efficiency of their cadres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They agreed on the importance of raising public awareness of the need to get out of the tunnel of this crisis, move towards a directly elected legitimacy of governing institutions, and work to resolve the bottlenecks that besiege Libyans as a result of the current state of political instability and economic collapse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
