Let us trust the free choice of the Libyan people:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The hour of truth has come. Let us all respect the Libyan judiciary and the timely electoral process on 24 December 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let us leave it to the authorities to investigate violations. Let every candidate submit to the Libyan people his\/her CV, vision, and program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let us then all publicly debate, without hiding, without positions, without weapons, and without exceptions, in front of the Libyan people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let us trust the people\u2019s free choice on election day, and let us all commit to the results of the elections, no matter what they turn out to be.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Islamic State terrorist group likely will launch an attack on Italy within weeks, not months, according to a senior Libyan government official.<\/p>\n

Aref Ali Nayed<\/strong>, Libya\u2019s ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, said in an interview that one likely method of attack would be to use stolen Libyan airliners now believed to be in the hands of Islamists in Libya.<\/p>\n\n\n
