The Sons of Libya group sent a letter to António Guterres, Secretary-General of the United Nations General Assembly, through the Secretary-General’s Special Envoy to Liya.
The letter, which carried No. 19 of 2019, stated that the group followed the speech of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan at the opening of the TRT forum in Istanbul and the express colonial speech in which the speaker claimed what he called his country’s alleged right in our country, Libya, which is what It interests us in the first place, in addition to its right in several countries, including the Syrian Arab Republic, within what he considers the geography of their ancient Ottoman sultanate.
