Aref Nayed hosted a Libyan Scouts delegation at a reception and cultural exposition at the Libyan Consulate in Dubai. Aref’s continued support for organizations such as the Libyan Boy Scouts stems from his belief that youth development organizations are critical for instilling values that can help youth develop leadership, communication, and teamwork skills for political and civic participation.
The Libya Scouts group was composed of leading pioneers of the Scouts movement in Libya currently in the UAE on a visit to strengthen ties between scout associations in Libya and the UAE. Al Ahli basketball club players from Benghazi also attended the event.
