The Libyan Consulate in Dubai formally re-opened on Friday 19th August 2011, under the authority now of the National Transitional Council of Libya. The event was hosted by Dr Aref Nayed, the new Libyan Ambassador to the UAE and the taraweeh prayer was led by Sheikh Dukali Mohamed Alalem, Libya’s foremost Qur’an reciter.
