Since his appointment as Ambassador, Aref has reestablished a productive working relationship with the Government of the United Arab Emirates. Libyan diplomatic missions in the UAE have hosted several high level delegations to explore cooperation, expand commercial ties, and promote experience sharing based on a bilateral relationship of mutual respect.
