27/06/2020

PRESS RELEASE

The Office of Dr. Aref Ali Nayed, Chairman, Ihya Libya (Reviving Libya), Regarding Judicial Order in Case No. 20-cv-298 (CKK), United States District Court

for the District of Columbia

On 25 July 2020, the United States District Judge Collen Kollar-Kotelly, “ordered that Plaintiffs’ claims against Defendant Nayed are DISMISSED with prejudice”, based on the “voluntary dismissal with prejudice” by the Plaintiffs’ Counsel of all their claims, as per Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 41(a)(1).

Dr. Aref Ali Nayed thanked the office and legal team of Counsel David Baron for the defense strategy and submissions, which led the Plaintiffs’ Counsel to dismiss all claims against Nayed.

Dr. Nayed requested his legal team to continue pursuing cases in United States Courts, and to take all legal steps necessary against all defamation and attempts to tarnish. Such attempts are continuously being made by the Muslim Brotherhood lobby in the United States and beyond, through their associations and associates, via their TV channels, social media platforms, electronic armies and trolls, in Turkey and other operational centers of their transnational organization.

Thanks are due to God, first and foremost.
