Today, the working group of the Libya Institute for Advanced Studies (LIAS) sent a proposal to the UN envoy Ghassan Salamé regarding the inclusive national conference to be held mid-April in Ghadames. After the chaos and fighting that lasted for more than eight years, the LIAS proposal consists of seven items that the Libyan people aspire to in order to express their will. These covered free elections, fair and monitored locally and internationally, renewal of legitimacy and new institutions to emerge from the elections that lead Libya to prospects of stability and prosperity.
