Dr Aref Nayed, Chairman of the Libya Institute for Advanced Studies (LIAS) said that he had made many international contacts in the recent period to explain the situation in Libya, noting that the contacts were not limited to the Italian arena alone, but also included European and regional countries such as France, Greece, Cyprus and Egypt.
