Dr Aref Ali Nayed, Chairman of the Libya Institute for Advanced Studies (LIAS), met today with Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias at the headquarters of the Greek Foreign Ministry in the capital, Athens.
The meeting dealt with the latest developments in the Libyan issue, the regional situation and the outcomes of the Berlin conference and its consequences. Nayed stressed the importance of following up and building on the recent positive developments in the relations between Greece and the Libyan Parliament, its legitimate government and the leadership of its national army and the role of the study centers in developing joint Greek-Libyan work and coordinating it and briefed him on the academic agreements signed by LIAS in particular.
