The head of the Ihya Libya, Aref Ali Nayed, announced today, Wednesday, that he will abandon the status of the representative of the Libyan Parliament Speaker due to a number of exceptional circumstances, after assigning this capacity on June 30th.
Nayed explained in a statement that all the tasks entrusted to him were accomplished as possible, and a set of successful international and diplomatic contacts, meetings and endeavors were coordinated, the last of which was contact with the Republic of Greece and the Kingdom of Sweden in preparation for the deliberations of the Council of the European Union yesterday.
