Dr. Aref Ali Nayed, head of Ihya Libya, said that there is a huge difference between the Government of National Accord requesting assistance from Turkey, and the Libyan parliament’s request for assistance from Egypt, noting that international recognition of the Government of National Accord is the cause of all these problems.
Nayed explained in an interview on Sky News Arabia today that international agreements are an inherent right of the legislative authority, so the executive authority has no right to enter into agreements without the approval of Parliament.
