The National Movement for Libya supported the Cairo initiative issued last Saturday, demanding the enforcement of its provisions, starting with the ceasefire that had passed the announced date.
The statement obtained by Libya TV called for the removal of all foreign fighters and mercenaries from Libya, limiting the carrying of weapons to a unified army and unified police, and unifying sovereign institutions, in addition to holding presidential and parliamentary elections that would renew legitimacy in Libya.
