The head of the Libya Academy for Advanced Studies, Aref Nayed, met at the end of his visit to the Vatican and Italy. He met with both Pope Francis, Pope (Vatican), and World Council of Churches President Olaf Vexy Tveit.
These meetings followed the work of the international conference held in the Vatican, which came under the slogan: hatred of others, racism, and populist extremism in the global context of migration, organized by the specialized bodies in the Vatican and the World Council of Churches in Geneva, with the participation of representatives of all religions.
