TUNISIA – Former Libyan ambassador to the UAE and presidential candidate Aref Nayed chose to announce his political project, while the controversy is still raging over the possibility of holding the elections as scheduled in December, amid external and internal pressure to postpone them.
Al-Nayed (56 years old) announced on Wednesday evening his “Ihya Libya 2023” in a press conference held in the Tunisian capital. The project has four main pillars: peace and security, rule of law, economic development, human development, good governance and public sector reform.
