The Libyan presidential candidate, Aref Nayed called on the Libyan Parliament and the Audit Bureau to urgently investigate the size and position of deposits of the Central Bank of Libya in Turkish banks and to move immediately to protect Libya’s funds from the continued collapse of the Turkish currency and to hold accountable those who put the funds there.
