Dr. Aref Nayed, head of the Libya Academy for Advanced Studies, met this morning, Tuesday, with Dr. Ghassan Salame, the UN envoy to Libya, and his deputy, Stephanie Williams, in Cairo, to discuss the latest developments in the Libyan file with its various tracks.
Nayed delivered official copies of the last two open letters that (the Libya Academy for Advanced Studies) had addressed to Salama during the past weeks, warning of the Sarraj and Erdogan agreements, confirming their nullity, and noting the need to end the acquisition of power by Al-Sarraj and his government and Libya’s financial capabilities by the end of the fourth year of his rule By today, December 17, 2019.
