The head of the Libya Academy for Advanced Studies, Aref Nayed, confirmed that the Al-Wefaq government has completed the shame of underestimating the Libyan national sovereignty by announcing its acceptance of the trial of Saif Al-Islam Gaddafi outside Libya, at the end of the third hearing of the International Criminal Court on the Gaddafi case.

Nayed indicated in a statement to Al-Marsad Al-Youm newspaper that this is another catastrophic step that is added to the Government of National Accord’s declaration that it will not accept the legitimacy of the Libyan parliament elected by the people and that it will not accept the general amnesty law issued by it, which formed a glimmer of hope towards national reconciliation and social tolerance, adding that ignoring the judiciary The destruction of the national jurisdiction, the contempt for the elected Libyan legislator and its laws, and the extradition of any Libyan citizen is reprehensible and rejected.

Nayed concluded by saying that all this is not surprising from an unelected government that has dictated the fate and power of the Libyans for more than four years, without the confidence of the elected parliament and without taking the constitutional oath, and dozens of Libyan judicial rulings were issued against it, which it dealt with arrogance and arrogance.
