Africa Intelligence website said that Dr. Aref Nayed, head of the Libya Studies Academy and a supporter of Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, paid an urgent visit to Washington, DC, on October 24th.
The site confirmed that Nayed’s visit came at a time when the US House of Representatives was studying a bill on stabilizing stability in Libya, which was submitted on October 11 by four members of Congress led by the representative of the state of Florida in the US Senate Theodore Elliot Deutsch.
