Nayed Meets Bogdanov and Affirms that Dialogue and Reconciliation with the Protection of a National Army is the Solution

The Russian Foreign Ministry said that a meeting between the Russian President’s envoy to the countries of the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Foreign Minister, Mikhail Bogdanov, with the head of the Libya Complex for Advanced Studies, Aref Nayed, in Abu Dhabi, addressed the need to find an urgent solution to the current crisis in Libya through effective assistance from The United Nations and national institutions.

For his part, Nayed said in a statement to Al-Marsad newspaper, that the crimes of murder and abuse, the injustices of political and economic isolation, the bullying of extremists and terrorists, and the domination of the people’s sustenance have led the country to the abyss. He considered that the only way out is to respond to grievances, dialogue and reconciliation with the protection of a national army.

Nayed also confirmed that he had visited Washington and New York during the past few days, during which he held a number of meetings with several parties that he did not disclose.
