The Chairman of the Libya Institute for Advanced Studies, Aref Nayed, welcomed the efforts exerted locally and internationally to unify state institutions, end the current crisis and achieve the aspirations and desires of the Libyan people and so alleviate their suffering.
In a press statement, Nayed praised the statements of the Speaker of Parliament, Counselor Aguila Saleh, in which he called for the necessity of holding presidential elections this year through the people directly, in order to spare the country from further division.
It is noteworthy that presidential candidate, Aref Nayed was the first to officially announce his candidacy in early March, through an integrated vision and program of work entitled the “Ihya Libya” vision.
