The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Ahli Club, Aref Nayed, called on the Presidential Council in Tripoli to intervene to release the kidnapped members of the club’s fans after the end of the final match of the Libya Volleyball Championship, which gathered Al-Sowaihli in front of Al-Ahly Benghazi in the Great Hall in Tripoli and ended with Al-Suwehli’s victory by three sets of one game.
The hashtag #Save_Al-Ahly_Fans_Benghazi has published pages of activists on the social networking site Facebook and Twitter.
The fate of the kidnapped fans of the Al-Ahli Benghazi club remains unknown until today.
