Swiss Organization Trying to Break the Political Deadlock in Libya

GENEVA – A dialogue between more than fifty “high-ranking” Libyan political and tribal figures was launched Monday in Geneva, Switzerland, under the auspices of the Center for Humanitarian Dialogue in Geneva, and will continue until February 14th.

“Al Arab” has seen a leaked list of the personalities who have been invited to attend this dialogue. The list included important names such as the Speaker of Parliament, Aqeelah Saleh, the President of the outgoing National Congress, Nouri Abu Shameen, and the President of the Supreme Council of State, Abdul Rahman Al-Swehli.
