The Libya Academy for Advanced Studies Denies Rumors About a Tunisian Security Raid on its President’s Apartment

The office of the head of the Libya Academy for Advanced Studies, Aref Nayed, denied today, Monday, in a statement to journalists and the media, which Nayed published through his official account on Facebook. He denied what was reported by some pages and electronic accounts about a fictitious Tunisian journalist named Anwar Bahah, regarding the Tunisian security raid on an apartment owned by Aref Al-Nayed In Tunisia, about three million euros were confiscated from it. He would have offered it as a bribe to some deputies and members of the State Council, which the office considered as a challenge to the integrity of the Libyan people before their deputies.

The statement emphasized that spreading such rumors aimed to discredit Nayed, especially since the news was published in Libya through ideological pages known for lying and slander.
