Russian President Putin’s Special Representative for the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov, convened at the Headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation in Moscow, on Friday morning, with Dr Aref Ali Nayed, head of the Ihya Libya (Reviving Libya) Movement.
(LIBYA, 13 August 2021) – The meeting, which was attended by the Political Advisor of the Ihya Libya Movement, Mr. Mohamed Busafita, focused on the latest developments in Libya, and the crises facing the medical sector, particularly the Covid-19 and its variants pandemic.
The meeting also discussed the services and living bottlenecks that the Libyan citizen suffers from, and the urgent need to hold the simultaneous direct Presidential and Parliamentary elections on their scheduled date on 24 December 2021 and respecting the will of the Libyan people, and adhering to the LPDF Roadmap, the outputs of the Berlin II Conference, the relevant UN Security Council Resolutions, and the decisions of the 5+5 Joint Military Committee.
The media office of Ihya Libya, said the meeting stressed the absolute necessity for everyone to fully abide by their obligations and commitments in that regard.
