The head of the Ihya Libya, Aref Ali Nayed, sent a message to the United Nations, thanking it for its response to the party’s call to set a date for urgent presidential and parliamentary elections that would be supported and monitored internationally.
At the same time, Aref Nayed expressed his regret that the mission did not take into account another proposal of the party calling for the need to focus on the inclusiveness that accommodates the entire Libyan fabric in the Libyan dialogue sessions in Tunisia.
The message came after the UN announcement that set December 24, 2021, as the date for holding parliamentary and presidential elections.
