The Ihya Libya Party called on the Arab League to withdraw recognition from the Presidency Council of the Government of National Accord.
This came in a letter sent by the head of the party, Aref Nayed, to the Secretary-General of the League, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, in which the message came to an invitation to the members of the Arab League to discuss the withdrawal of recognition from the Presidential Council during their meetings on Libya, as the presidency endangered the Libyan and Arab national security.
