The head of the Libya Academy for Advanced Studies, Aref Ali Nayed, called on the House of Representatives to activate Resolution No. Five, which was approved by the Council in two thousand and fourteen, which mandates the election of a head of state directly from the Libyan people.
Nayed stated in an interview with Russia Today Channel, that the House of Representatives unanimously approved Resolution No. 5 in a plenary session, and included it in the Constitutional Declaration, which is still in effect.
