The head of the Libya Academy for Advanced Studies, Aref Nayed, met today, Monday, in Russia, the Deputy Russian Foreign Minister, and the Russian President’s Special Representative for the Middle East and African Affairs, Mikhail Bogdanov, at the headquarters of the Russian Foreign Ministry, during his resumption of a new round of international meetings.
The meeting touched on the catastrophic humanitarian situation in the capital, Tripoli, ways to support the efforts of the United Nations Ceasefire and Civilian Relief Mission, and the important role of Russia in the Security Council deliberations on Libya, combating terrorism and institutional corruption, in addition to ways to support the international committee that will be formed by the UN Security Council. To follow up on the aspects of the disbursement of Libyan oil sales revenues, and to ensure the preservation of Libyan human rights in all its social fabric and in all its regions.
