The Chairman of the Libya Institute for Advanced Studies, Dr Aref Nayed presented an initiative aimed at stopping clashes and violence in the capital, Tripoli, and protecting civilians, under the name: Libya Revival of Peace in the capital, Tripoli.
The initiative was sent as an official and urgent letter to the Special Envoy of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Libya, Ghassan Salamé and contained a set of provisions to solve the crisis.
