The Libyan National Gatherings Forces have condemned the threats issued by the Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, related to landing Turkish military forces on Libyan soil.
The grouping forces, which include a number of civil society organizations, national parties, human rights societies, writers, researchers and academics, confirmed in a statement addressed to the Secretary-General of the United Nations, and the heads of the headquarters of the permanent members of the UN Security Council, along with each of the members of the European Union, and the Secretary-General of the Arab League And the President of the African Union, in addition to the Secretary-General of the Arab Maghreb Union, confirmed that the threat of landing Turkish forces on Libyan soil is an invasion and a violation of the sovereignty of an independent state and a member of the United Nations, and all continental and regional organizations.
