The Libyan National Gatherings Forces issued a strongly worded statement regarding the Turkish threats to send military forces to the Libyan territories.
The statement said: “We, civil society organizations, Libyan national parties, human rights groups, writers, researchers and academics, and expressing the opinion of the overwhelming majority of the Libyan people, condemn and strongly denounce the threats issued by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan about his intentions to land Turkish military forces on Libyan lands.”
