Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte called for a European position regarding what he called Turkey’s violations of economic waters in the eastern Mediterranean, and Ankara’s agreements with the Government of National Accord in Libya.
Conte stressed, during a parliamentary briefing, the importance of the European Council reaffirming its support for the member states bordering the Eastern Mediterranean, and the demand for full respect for international law.
International reactions condemning the Al-Sarraj-Turkey agreement continue, as the head of the Libya Academy for Advanced Studies, Aref Al-Nayed, confirmed in this regard that Al-Sarraj lost Italy and Europe, and that his sympathizers are reconsidering their accounts.
