The head of the Libya Academy for Advanced Studies, Aref Nayed, described the memorandum of understanding signed between Al-Sarraj and Turkey as suspicious, explaining that they called it a memorandum of understanding until they suggested that it did not need the approval of the Libyan parliament.
Nayed, in an interview with Al-Arabiya TV, added that the House of Representatives is the only one authorized to approve the agreements, as it is the only elected body that is recognized by the world.
