The Chairman of the Libya Institute for Advanced Studies, Aref Nayed expressed his confidence in holding elections in Libya on the tenth of December of this year, after the various actors in Libya expressed their agreement to this during the recent Paris conference in France, indicating local and international support for holding presidential and parliamentary elections in Libya by the end of the year.
Nayed pointed out that there is a great objection to some currents, especially the Muslim Brotherhood and the Libyan Fighting Group, for resorting to arms when they lost the election box, which he said happened in the 2014 elections.
Nayed stressed that all parties that want a national state and do not take up arms against the Libyans are welcome in the elections.
