Nayed Considers the Local and International Agreement to Hold Elections this Year, an Important Step for Building the State of Libya

The head of the Libya Academy for Advanced Studies, Aref Nayed, affirmed that the local and international agreement today at the Paris Conference to hold presidential and parliamentary elections in Libya before the end of 2018 is an important step for building the Libyan state on new legal foundations.

Nayed, in a statement to Libya TV after the Paris International Conference, said that achieving elections will end the suffering of the Libyan people, indicating that everyone is now committed to preparing for the elections and arranging all the necessary entitlements to hold fair and transparent elections under international observation.
