Tripoli – The amendment of the political agreement signed in the Moroccan city of Skhirat in December 2015 concerns all political parties in Libya. During his first briefing to the Security Council last week, the UN envoy to Libya Ghassan Salame announced his intention to make an amendment to the political agreement within the next few days.
“Most of those I interviewed raised ideas about amending the political agreement,” he said. A consensus is emerging, and I hope that I can announce some action in the coming days.
