The resigned president of the Al-Ahly Benghazi Club, Dr. Aref Nayed, congratulated Al-Ahly Benghazi Club and its fans for crowning the team with the eleventh title of the Libyan Volleyball League after defeating the Al-Nasr team by three games for free.
Nayed pledged, in a televised intervention on “Libya Channel,” to support the team and stand next to it as a member of the club and its supporters’ association whenever the club needed it.
Nayed referred to the difficult conditions the club went through and how it overcame them, which culminated in his return to its historic headquarters in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood and crowning it with this championship, praising the soft and at the same time the stubborn city of Benghazi, which returned to life and celebrated the seventieth anniversary of the club’s founding.
