The State of the United Arab Emirates Awarded Dr. Aref Nayed the Independence Medal from the First Class

The President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, awarded the former Libyan ambassador to the UAE, Dr. Aref Nayed, the Independence Medal of the first class, in appreciation of the efforts he made during his tenure in the Emirates.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, awarded the medal to the Libyan ambassador during his reception yesterday, Wednesday, at the Ministry’s General Bureau office in Abu Dhabi, in gratitude for his contribution to developing friendship and cooperation relations between the UAE and Libya and strengthening them in all fields, according to what was published by the Emirates News Agency.

Dr. Aref Nayed expressed his deep appreciation to the President of the United Arab Emirates, praising the prominent role he plays regionally and internationally, and thanked all parties in the UAE for the cooperation he received, which had a positive impact on the success of his mission.
