A member of the House of Representatives from Benghazi, “Yusef Al-Aqouri,” said that yesterday, Tuesday, the candidates for the position of the Government of National Accord and one of his deputies were elected by mechanism “4” from the southern, western and eastern regions.
Where: “Abd al-Rahman Shalqam”, “Mustafa al-Salihin al-Huni”, “Muhammad Ubayd” and “Nabil al-Ghadamesi” were nominated for the southern region. As for the eastern region, the two candidates were: “Abu Bakr Aba’irah” and “Fathi al-Majbari”, Minister of Education in the government of Al-Thani. And “Muhammad Yunus” and “Jadallah Azouz Al-Talhi” and “Othman Al-Basir” and “Daw Boudawiya” and “Arif Al-Nayed” nominated for the Western Region, and Abd Al-Salam Abdul-Jalil Al-Ferjani.
Al-Aqouri added that Kutah was added to the components where there would be a candidate from the Tabu and Tuareg and one from the female component, and for this government to be represented by all the Libyan parties and components, as it is basically a government of national consensus.
