The House of Representatives voted on the consensus-based government selection mechanism, and in its session on Monday in Tobruk it presented two proposals in particular, the first stipulating that only two names would be sent as candidates for the prime minister and a vice president, while the second proposal stipulated that six names would be sent divided according to three regions, meaning two names for each region.
Representative Issa Al-Araibi said in a call with “Al Wasat Gate” that 116 deputies voted on the first proposal with a majority of 67 votes from the audience.
