The Libya Academy for Advanced Studies Holds a Symposium in Tunisia Entitled: “Libyans and Identity”

The Libya Academy for Advanced Studies concluded today in Tunis, a symposium entitled: “Libyans and Identity”, which shed light on the issue of identity, its definition, importance, and impact on the constitution and societies, and how to spread public awareness of it, and publish it in various media outlets.

The organizers of the symposium expressed their hope for a benefit in terms of spreading awareness of the concept of identity and its impact on building the civil state, focusing on spreading awareness of commonalities among Libyans, in a way that relieves tension and builds peace, and focusing on the importance of constitutional rules, educational curricula and means of education in building political culture. .

The two-day seminar was attended by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Libya Academy for Advanced Studies, Dr. Aref Nayed, Chair of the Council of Advisors at the Complex, Umm Al-Ezz Al-Farsi, and Chair of the Libyan Women for Peace Forum: Al-Zahra Lekki, and the symposium was attended by a group of academics, specialists, experts, masters and doctoral students.
