The revival of Libya bloc issued a statement regarding the issuance of two binding Security Council resolutions in support of the presidential and parliamentary elections on December 24, 2021, and regarding the candidacy of the president and members of the revival of Libya bloc in it.
The statement said: “It is in addition to our memorandum sent to the United Nations and several capitals on November 14, 2020, and the previous correspondence, we thank the UN Security Council for responding to what was stated in it, and it is the same as the demands of the Libyan people, according to the numerous opinion polls, to hold direct and parliamentary presidential elections on time. December 24, 2021, the bloc also supports all the provisions of the two binding UN resolutions mentioned, Resolution 2570 and Resolution 2571 of 2021, which were issued yesterday.
