The Chairman of the Ihya Libya movement, Aref Ali Nayed, held a virtual meeting on Thursday with US Special Envoy and Ambassador to Libya, Richard Norland.
(LIBYA, 21 July 2021) – According to a brief press statement issued by the Ihya Libya movement, they discussed during the meeting the outcomes of the recent UN Security Council meeting on Libya.
The discussions also included the UN Security Council’s renewal of its support for holding direct Presidential and Parliamentary elections on their scheduled date on 24 December and the exiting of all foreign forces and mercenaries from Libya.
