US Ambassador and Special Envoy Richard Norland held a virtual meeting today with the Presidential candidate and Chairman of Ihya Libya Party, Dr. Aref Nayed.
They discussed the latest developments in Libya, and ways to overcome the current political impasse in the country in order to go forward with the implementation of Presidential and Parliamentary Elections soonest.
They also discussed ways of ensuring health and food security needs, and delivery of essential services to alleviate the suffering of the Libyan people during these difficult times.
